Relationship & Marriage Counseling
- Help couples find their way back to each other
- Help couples replace the disconnect pattern with a loving and strong bond
- Help couples heal from infidelity and sexual integrity issues
- Help couples that are struggling with intimacy issues
- Identify your Counseling Goal(s)
- Choose a Counselor
- Fill out the Couple’s Intake Packet and turn in to Counseling office 72 hours prior to first session, if at all possible (one packet if just one spouse is attending, or two if both attend)
- Visit the Client Portal and make an appoinment
- Complete all forms sent by portal prior to appointment
In preparing for Couples Counseling the following are offered as suggestions:
- Limit conversations about the relationship to a mutually agreed upon 15 minutes per day, no marathon discussions and no heated discussions after 7:pm
- Spend the same amount of daily time mentally rehearsing what is good and right about your partner as you do about what is not
- Return to at least one fond memory of your partner a day
Individual Counseling
- Help adults and teens
- Help clients struggling with anxiety, grief, OCD, depression and chronic illness
- Help clients with trauma using EMDR & other somatic processing protocols
- Help clients with stress management, FMLA and disability
- Help clients grow in emotional strength, assertiveness and identity
- Identify your Counseling Goal(s)
- Choose a Counselor
- Visit the Client Portal and make an appoinment
- Complete all forms sent by portal prior to appointment
In preparing for Individual Counseling the following are offered as suggestions:
- Visualize and write with clarity all of your counseling goal(s)
- Mentally rehearse your current strengths
- If appropriate, share your decision with a trusted friend or family member who can serve as your advocate outside of counseling
Family Counseling
- Help families in conflict restore peace and health
- Help families with struggling teens
- Help families adjusting to life transitions and adult children
- Help families blending and co-parenting
- Identify your Counseling Goal(s)
- Choose a Counselor
- Visit the Client Portal and make an appoinment
- Complete all forms sent by portal prior to appointment
In preparing for Family Counseling the following are offered as suggestions:
- Limit conversations about family conflict or issue to a mutually agreed upon 15 minutes per day, no marathon discussions and no heated discussions after 7:pm
- Mentally rehearsing your family’s strengths
- Visualize and with clarity write your goals for family counseling
