Cindy Orozco, LCSW
¡Hola! My name is Cindy Orozco and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I obtained my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California (USC) and have been a practicing social worker since 2012. I am originally from California but have lived in Texas for a couple of years now. I am bilingual and biliterate in Spanish. I am licensed in California and Texas. I love what I do and most importantly I have a passion for helping others.
I have a vast amount of experience working with the geriatric, children and adolescents and chronically ill population. These work settings have sharpened many skills, especially in crisis intervention, safety planning, emotional support and connecting clients to community referrals.
I believe that having a strong therapeutic relationship is the key factor to successful therapy.
Therefore, I am committed to delivering exemplary client support while encouraging and empowering clients toward improved self-esteem and decision-making. I strive to provide a safe space filled with warmth, compassion, empathy and a sense of calmness for clients to be vulnerable and free. My client-centered approach along with a blend of other therapeutic modalities allows me to connect with clients while allowing them to be themselves and guide their session to where they are at that moment in time.
As your therapist, I vow to always offer you a safe space where you will feel seen, heard and empowered in exchange for your true authentic self. Starting therapy can be scary and I am here to tell you that it can be BUT you do not have to do this alone. I cannot change your situation or it disappear, but I will walk alongside of you, guiding you, to feel, process and create change when you are ready!
